Kodii Moriuchi DVM, cVMA, CACDr. Kodii Moriuchi grew up in Branson Missouri, and is happy to be practicing in and around the area she has always called home. From a young age Dr. Kodii has had a love and passion for animals that has carried over into her professional career.
Dr. Kodii attended Drury University in Springfield, Missouri where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology, Spanish and Environmental Health and Protection. During her final two years at Drury, Dr. Kodii also worked for the City of Branson, Missouri Health Department. She was a member of their animal control unit and also conducted their West Nile Virus Surveillance Program. She later attended veterinary school at the University of Missouri-Columbia, College of Veterinary Medicine. and is a graduate of the class of 2012. After practicing in a small animal and equine hospital for several years, Dr. Kodii wanted to explore integrative therapies and modalities to treat animals. Believing in chiropractic and acupuncture treatments for herself, she decided to attend the Options for Animals College of Animal Chiropractic. She is certified by, and a member of, the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association (IVCA). Dr. Kodii is also certified in Veterinary Medical Acupuncture, Photobiomodulation (laser therapy), Medical Massage through CuraCore Integrative Medicine and Education Center and in Functional Movement Taping (Kinesiology Taping) through RockTape. When she is not working, you will find Dr. Kodii spending time with her own animals. Her dog Sadie Roo is pictured on the top left and her horse Rio is on the bottom left. |
